Will I need a license to access the full Strawbees Classroom?

Yes. From September 2022 part of the site will be a paid service.

What do I need to do now?

Presently, you don’t need to do anything. However, before the 1st of September 2022 you need to get a license subscription to keep full access to Strawbees Classroom.

Why are you making Strawbees Classroom a paid service?

We believe that providing excellent support and content for teachers and curriculum developers is crucial for successful implementation of hands-on STEAM learning. Developing and maintaining content is costly, if we don’t charge money for it, we won’t be able to provide the high-quality activities, lesson plans, courses, webinars, and support that we think Strawbees teachers and students deserve.

How do I keep myself updated?

We will update you through the email you registered with Strawbees Classroom. You can also subscribe to our newsletter.

How to buy a subscription?

From April 2022 all STEAM School kits will have the first year included in the price. If you already have a School Kit you can buy a subscription separately. In our web shop or by mailing: sales@strawbees.com

If you are buying through a reseller, the rollout might lag behind, but before August you will be able to buy the subscription through them.

What is the difference between subscriptions and licenses?

You subscribe to licenses. One subscription can hold a quantity of one or many licenses. For example: A school can have a subscription that holds the quantity of licenses they need for all their teachers. An individual teacher can have the quantity of one license in their subscription.
