Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code, to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science.

Explore physical computing, by changing the functionality of an object, using only code. Learn the basics of how to program the micro:bit, how to use different sensors (light, sound, etc.) to control movement, and how to explore these concepts on your own with the Crane Automation lesson.

Applying the ideas learned from this webinar is best suited for teachers working with students ages 8-14. If you want to follow and build along we recommend these materials listed below.
